On October 14, under the careful organization of the China Agricultural Industrialization Leaders Association, Mr. Atis Slakteris, former Minister of Agriculture, Minister of Finance, and Minister of Defense of Latvia, and Ms. Inguna Gulbe, former Minister of Agriculture of Latvia, advisor to the Minister of Finance, Director of the Agricultural Promotion Center, and professor at the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, visited TOENTER Company for an inspection tour. As the final stop of this Sino-foreign agricultural exchange event, TOENTER Water-Saving showcased China’s robust strength in agricultural technological innovation through its advanced water-saving irrigation technologies and intelligent agricultural solutions, establishing a high-level dialogue platform for Sino-foreign agricultural cooperation.

During the visit, the delegation learned about the company’s innovative achievements in the research and development of high-efficiency water-saving irrigation equipment, the integration of smart fertigation systems, and the construction of smart agriculture cloud platforms. Mr. Atis Slakteris and Professor Inguna Gulbe explored the production workshops and technical exhibition areas, where they observed core products such as high-efficiency sprinkler irrigation machines, intelligent drip irrigation systems, and IoT-based irrigation control platforms. They expressed strong interest in TOENTER Water-Saving’s technological applications in precision irrigation, water conservation and yield increase, and digital farmland.

"How does the intelligent system achieve precise water and fertilizer regulation during different crop growth stages?" and "Is this system adaptable to climatic conditions similar to those in Latvia?"—in response to these on-site questions from the foreign guests, TOENTER Water-Saving’s technical staff provided detailed explanations and shared the company’s successful practices in numerous agricultural water-saving projects both domestically and internationally. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as the promotion of water-saving agricultural technologies, cooperative research and development of intelligent equipment, and alignment with international standards.

Professor Inguna Gulbe remarked, "TOENTER Water-Saving’s technology is truly impressive. Smart agriculture is a shared direction for global agricultural development, and Latvia is also actively promoting the modernization of its agricultural sector. We hope to engage in practical cooperation in areas such as smart irrigation and fertigation in the future." Mr. Atis Slakteris highly praised TOENTER Water-Saving’s practices in driving green agricultural development through technological innovation, noting that the related technologies hold significant value for improving water resource utilization efficiency and ensuring food security.

As a leading enterprise in China’s water-saving irrigation industry, TOENTER Water-Saving has always been committed to technological innovation and international development, with its products already exported to multiple countries and regions. The visit of the Latvian delegation not only recognized the company’s technological strength and brand influence but also created important opportunities for expanding into the Central and Eastern European market and strengthening international research collaboration.

Moving forward, TOENTER Water-Saving will continue to uphold the development philosophy of "Technology for Water Conservation, Green Agriculture," deepen technological innovation, strengthen international exchanges, and promote Chinese water-saving irrigation technologies, products, and services to a broader global market. The company aims to contribute "Chinese expertise" and "Chinese solutions" to the sustainable development of world agriculture.
